Project Overview
Access was carefully gained to the affected pipework, and the plumbing system was fully drained before the repair began. The damaged section of copper pipe was removed and replaced with new copper pipe and fittings. Traditional soldered joints were used to create secure and durable connections.
Once the repair was completed, the plumbing system was refilled and thoroughly tested. All new and surrounding connections were checked to ensure the pipework was functioning correctly and remained fully watertight.

Rather than replacing sections of pipework that were still in good condition, the damaged section was carefully cut out and replaced with new copper pipework connected to the existing system. This provided a practical and durable repair while keeping disruption to a minimum.
