Mira Dual Thermostatic Exposed Shower Replacement

FixWell Plumbing recently completed the replacement of a Mira dual thermostatic exposed shower in Greenford, UB6 9TA.

The existing shower system was carefully disconnected and removed before the replacement unit was fitted to the existing hot and cold water supplies. The installation included the thermostatic shower valve, riser rail, handset and associated shower fittings.

Once installed, the complete system was tested to ensure safe temperature control, correct water flow and reliable operation.

Scope of Work

Isolated the hot and cold water supplies
Restored the hot and cold water supplies
Carefully disconnected and removed the existing exposed shower
Inspected the existing shower connections before installation
Fitted the replacement Mira dual thermostatic exposed shower

Installed and aligned the shower riser rail and handset

The Installation

The existing shower assembly was removed carefully to allow the replacement to be installed while retaining the existing tiled finish and water supply points.

Correct alignment and secure fitting were important to achieve a neat installation and ensure the shower valve and riser assembly operated as intended. The new thermostatic shower was connected to the existing supplies and all fittings were checked before the water was restored.

Outcome

The Mira thermostatic shower replacement was successfully completed, providing the customer with a reliable and easy-to-use shower system with controlled hot and cold water mixing.
